The 35.5kWh battery delivers up to 124-miles of range, and the modest capacity means you can top up from 20-80% in just 25 minutes at a 50kW charger, making pitstops a breeze. There are 5 regenerative braking modes with the most powerful enabling a one-pedal driving experience, and you get over 15 driving aids, including Blind Spot Monitoring, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go.
Not ready to switch to 100% electric? Check out the MX-30 R-EV, a plug-in hybrid with a 17.8kWh battery and an EV range up to 53-miles. The battery is paired with an 830cc Rotary engine, delivering over 400 miles of total range. Trims include Prime-Line, Exclusive-Line, Makoto, and Edition R. Exclusive-Line boasts heated front seats, smart keyless entry, and a powered driver’s seat with memory. Makoto adds a heated steering wheel, 360 View Monitor, Adaptive LED Headlights, and a powered tilt & slide sunroof. Edition R stands out with Jet Black paint with Maroon-Rouge side panels and Dark Grey Cloth with Black Leatherette upholstery with embossed headrests.
