Isuzu: Good News!
There has never been a better time to get behind the wheel of a new Isuzu D-Max. Whether you’re a private buyer or a business, this rugged pick-up ticks all of the boxes and makes sure you get where you need to go regardless of the conditions. At Nunns of Grimsby, we currently have a great selection of the new D-Max in stock too, so get in touch and check one out today.
But how does this tough pick-up truck make sense for you? There are some misconceptions about pickups - so we want to readdress these and give you the correct information from the get-go. We’ve got everything you need in this article.
VAT is still 100% reclaimable
The VAT status of pick-ups has not changed - it’s still business as usual where the Isuzu D-Max is concerned. So it means that if a business is VAT-registered and it is using a pick-up with a payload capacity of over one tonne, then you can still claim 100% VAT back on it. The D-Max payload is between 1,085KG and 1,205KG depending on the model, meaning you can still claim the VAT back on all of the Isuzu D-Max range.
The Isuzu D-Max remains classed as a commercial vehicle, too. If you’ve got any further questions about this area, then get in touch with the Nunns team today and we’ll be happy to help.
Competitive road tax
Road tax is something else worth thinking about, but fortunately, you’re not going to have to make sky-high payments with the Isuzu D-Max. Road tax remains at £345 per year for this pick-up, helping to make overall running costs lower.
Plus, you can get just over 33mpg combined from the D-Max, bringing running costs even further down.
High level of standard equipment
If you’re after a pick-up with plenty of equipment, then the D-Max is well worth checking out. Take the DL20, for instance. It gets 18-inch alloy wheels and body-coloured bumpers, while inside there’s an eight-inch infotainment display with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring systems. You’ve got Extended Cab and Double-Cab layouts to choose from, too, as well as four colours.
But if you want the height of luxury, then check out the V-Cross model. With dark grey exterior styling and 18-inch alloy wheels in the same colour, it’s got an understated approach, while bi-LED headlights are a powerful addition. Inside, there’s a larger nine-inch infotainment system, and there are front and rear USB-C charging ports for keeping devices topped up when you’re on the go. It’s also got keyless entry and a handy seven-inch digital driver display, which shows you key information along with details about your off-road systems.
Excellent four-wheel-drive system and pulling power
If you’re looking at a pick-up like the Isuzu D-Max, then it’s likely that you need a vehicle that can go further. The good news is that this pick-up gets a range of rugged features designed to help it tackle poor conditions. Highlights include a tough ladder chassis and a full underbody protection setup, as well as a shift-on-the-fly four-wheel-drive system to help make switching driven wheels much easier.
All-Purpose models get a rear differential lock and, thanks to 800mm of wading depth, the D-Max can tackle deep sections of water without trouble, too.
If you’re towing with the Isuzu D-Max, you can do so with confidence as it’s rated to tow up to 3.5 tonnes. And that’s not all. The Isuzu D-Max is backed by a 5-year (125k mile) warranty, 5-year UK/EU roadside assistance and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty.
The Isuzu D-Max is a model that we’re proud to offer here at Nunns of Grimsby, so get in touch today to find out more about this feature-packed off-roader.
