NUNNS 50TH YEAR CHRISTMAS CHARITY DONATIONS & ANNUAL HOSPICE GIFT APPEAL
At Nunns, we are delighted to announce a special initiative to celebrate the end of our 50th Anniversary Year. As we head into the Christmas period, we are donating £1,000 to five local charities, totalling £5,000 in charitable giving.
And that’s not all. December also sees the return of our much-loved Christmas Gift Appeal in support of St Andrew’s Hospice. This heart-warming annual tradition is something we proudly look forward to each year. As well as gift donations from the business, the generosity of our customers, partners, and staff has helped bring comfort and joy to those spending Christmas at the hospice.
Celebrating 50 Years With £5,000 in Local Charity Donations
As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, we are proud to further extend our community-focused efforts.
We will be donating £1,000 to five local charities, totalling £5,000 in charitable giving. Supporting our local community has been at the heart of Nunns for half a century, and we are honoured to continue that tradition during such a milestone year. The local charities we’re donating to are:

Our Annual Christmas Gift Appeal Returns
From 1st December, our showroom will once again become a festive drop-off point for gifts of all kinds. As always, we will be purchasing a selection of presents for hospice patients, and we warmly encourage customers and staff to join us in adding to the collection.
A dedicated display area will be set up in the showroom, where donated gifts can be placed throughout December. Together, we hope to gather a generous selection of thoughtful items to be delivered in time for Christmas.
Any customer who donates a gift to the hospice gift appeal will be entered into a prize draw to win one of several prizes, including a Christmas Hamper, a Complimentary Vehicle Valet, or a Complimentary Car Cleaning Kit.
What to Donate
Based on the hospice’s needs in previous years, ideal donations include:

Toiletries, sanitary items, and pamper sets

Hand creams and skincare items

Warm socks, blankets, hats, or gloves

Puzzle books or light reading

Comforting gifts such as candles, soft throws, and hot water bottles

Sweet treats (individually packaged)

Sensory items like texture books or arts and crafts sets

Small, thoughtful gifts suitable for adults
Every item donated helps bring a moment of comfort to someone spending the festive season in care, and each gift is deeply appreciated.
