Nunns Mazda supports charity Christmas Gift Appeal

Grimsby-based Nunns Mazda is turning its showroom into a festive wonderland over the Christmas period to help collect presents and raise donations for St Andrews Hospice, a local care centre that provides support to children and adults with life-limiting conditions.

From 8th December December until 22nd December, the Nunns Mazda showroom on Altyre Way on Hewitts Avenue will be a drop-off point for donations, which will be collected in an all-new Mazda CX-5 ‘sleigh’. The dealership is welcoming sensory games and toys that can be used by children 5 and under. Sensory toys are often used to help aid children’s development by keeping them stimulated and entertained. These gifts can include toys that light up or make a sound, toys with textured surfaces, scented toys or toys that glow in the dark.

Jeremy Griffiths, Nunns Mazda Dealer Principal, said, “I’m extremely proud that the team here at Nunns Mazda are helping to spread the joy of Christmas to those at St Andrews Hospice. The hospice provides incredible care to the people that need it most, all free of charge. We urge everyone to bring sensory gifts and donations to our festive showroom, to help us fill our all-new Mazda CX-5 sleigh and show as much support as possible for this wonderful charity.”

St Andrew's Hospice provides a comprehensive range of care for adults and children with life threatening and limiting illness. Care is available in a range of settings, from overnight stays and respite to out-patient visits. The staff also provide support for family carers and pride themselves on being a ‘home from home’. Everyday normal activities such as bringing pets and ordering takeaways are encouraged at the hospice.

The gifts will be collected on 23rd December and will be handed out to children at St Andrews Hospice in time for Christmas.
